How We Choose Who We Love
How We Choose Who We Love
From childhood we cling to comfort, shared experience, laughter, and signs that we matter to the people around us. We go through life searching, yearning, hoping, or even praying to find love. Someone to connect with, to be accepted by, someone who sees through us to the core of who we are. Who will accept us unabashedly whether through family, friendship, comradery at work, or romantically. The word relationship holds meaning as different as the individuals themselves, though the importance behind the meaning is universal- it is belonging.
Each moment, each interaction, each conversation and experience has molded us into the person we see reflected back in the mirror. In my first book, Beautifully Bare, Undeniably you, we went on a journey to understand who we are and how we became this person and furthermore delved into what to do to become the person we wish to be. To be intentional with our unique identity. This time, I would like you to go on another journey with me in finding out how we love, who we choose to love and most importantly, if our greatest love belongs to us.
